I've had several of the traditional big breakfasts while I've been here, but the one today featured "black pudding."
When I saw it, I asked the waitress about it, but she insisted I try it before she told me. After some back and forth that included one of the cooks, I discovered that it was fried pig blood with oatmeal shaped like a sausage. It tasted kind of like that pastey corned beef hash one would get out of a can.
