I'm going to New Zealand. I'm writing about how I am going to get there. I will write about what I am doing while I am there. Then, I'll reflect about the experience after. There will also be pictures.

Odd Amenities
My hotel room in Christchurch has a few odd details:
A sliding glass door as the only entrance. Did I mention that it was 1C here the other day?
A mechanism next to the door (which opens with a metal key, not the plastic card we've become accustomed to) for a card to slip into. The card allows the lights in the room to be turned on. In other words, if the card isn't in the slot, the lights will not work.
A towel warmer (stay tuned on whether or not this is a standard feature in Kiwi bathrooms).

I vote yes for the decadent luxury of towel warmers. Kiwis rock.
ReplyDeleteThey've been everywhere I've been except for the farm, though I suspect the owners have one...
